Terms of Service

The rules for using our website and APIs, including access via RapidAPI.

Effective date: November 23, 2025

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Trust2API website and our publicly available application programming interfaces (the “APIs”). By accessing or using the website or APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you access our APIs through RapidAPI, the RapidAPI terms and policies apply in addition to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law.
  • We do not provide end‑user accounts on this site. If you subscribe via RapidAPI, your account is governed by RapidAPI’s terms and policies.

2. License and acceptable use

  • License: Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to access and use the APIs for lawful purposes and in accordance with any published documentation.
  • API keys and rate limits: You must keep credentials confidential and comply with any rate limits or quotas associated with your plan (including plans provisioned through RapidAPI).
  • Prohibited activities: Do not (a) abuse or interfere with the APIs or underlying infrastructure; (b) attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls; (c) reverse engineer or misrepresent API responses; (d) use the APIs to violate laws or third‑party rights; (e) send sensitive data in URLs or query strings; or (f) use the APIs to build a competing service in violation of fair‑use or applicable contracts.

3. Pricing, billing, and subscriptions

If you purchase or subscribe to our APIs through RapidAPI, billing and invoicing are handled by RapidAPI and are subject to their terms, including taxes and refund policies. Any advertised quotas or features are subject to change as described below.

4. Availability, changes, and deprecation

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime may occur.
  • We may modify, deprecate, or discontinue features, endpoints, or versions of the APIs. When feasible, we will provide reasonable advance notice of breaking changes.

5. Third‑party services (including RapidAPI)

The APIs may rely on or be accessed through third‑party platforms such as RapidAPI. Your use of those services is governed by their separate terms and policies, which you are responsible for reviewing.

6. Ownership and feedback

  • We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the APIs, documentation, and related materials.
  • If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a non‑exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty‑free license to use that feedback for any lawful purpose without obligation.

7. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use information. If you use RapidAPI, also review RapidAPI’s privacy policy.

8. Compliance and export

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including export control and sanctions laws. You may not use the APIs in, or for the benefit of, any jurisdiction or person prohibited by applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND APIS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APIS OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APIS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU (IF ANY) FOR THE APIS IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trust2API and its maintainers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the APIs or violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access to the APIs at any time for suspected violations or risk.
  • Upon termination, your rights under these Terms immediately cease, and you must stop using the APIs.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms will be interpreted in accordance with applicable law. We may specify governing law and venue in an updated version of these Terms. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence will remain unaffected where applicable.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
